Each Hornet includes a starter project " flashing robot head" to get you comfortable with soldering surface mount technology. Once complete you can proceed to the Hornet itself!

The Hornet encompasses some very cool technology including:

	New type of solar charge pump called a "Dynamic Solar Engine". The D.S.E. monitors ambient light level and selects a maximum and minimum charge level that best suits the available light. This allows the robot to operate in a much wider range of lighting conditions.
	Uses modern surface mount components which allow the builder to become familiar with SMT soldering techniques.
	Includes fine-gauge surface mount solder!
	Includes two flexible solar cells!
